Comatic portable edgebanders are perfect for all varieties and shapes of workpieces. The DR500BC cordless Portable Edgebander with cruiser Case combines the features of a stationary edgebanding:

The DR500 is the world's first portable wireless edgebander. This is a high quality machine will satisfy the demands of professionals whether for on-site work or integrated into a busy workshop.

Operation is simple with digital controls for temperature and a thumb feed speed control. The revolution is the ability to unplug the mains cable from the machine once it is up to temperature (a 4-minute warm-up required). This allows you to apply edging on straight and curved edges without a trailing power cable getting in your way.

There is around 5 minutes of cordless use before recharge is required (you can, of course, use the edgebander as a mains machine if required). The amount of glue the machine applies is adjustable to suit both banding and substrate. The guide plate is adjustable upto 15° for bevelled edges.

Material Compatibility: - works with PVC, melamine, laminate, wood and metal edgeband tape of 0.3mm - 3mm thickness and 10mm - 65mm wide.

Angle Adjustment: Our edgebanders can operate on tilted surfaces of 75°-90°, making beveled surfaces as simple as perpendicular ones.
Quick to Start The DR500 is quick to warm up from a cold start, and no warm-up time if the gluepot is refilled when at half capacity or more during operation.

Other edgebanders may require cooldown times - not ours.
Our machines are strenuously tested during QA. These machines are specially built for us by CoMatic in Taiwan - Don't confuse these units with cheap Chinese ones.
